After your run/walk, enjoy food, drinks, and vendors from across Orange County! Not a runner? No worries! Bring friends and family to learn about Leadership Orange and support our free youth empowerment program, JLO. Rain or shine, the 5K run/walk will be a flat, asphalt course, but the after-event is in the park.
The Junior Leadership Orange (JLO) program is a completely free program for 8th-grade students across Orange County. This youth empowerment program is designed to provide leadership skills, life skills, career exposure, and preparedness to youth who will potentially become the community leaders of the future. JLO effectively engages youth by challenging them to develop skills, gain critical awareness, and act as community advocates.
