Recognized as one of the top two cancer hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for more than 30 years\, MSK continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in cancer treatment. Their world-class scientists and clinicians work together to translate groundbreaking research into life-saving therapies. MSK’s mission is bold and clear: ending cancer for life. \nThe Crusader Care Fund provides vital support to Archbishop Stepinac High School families facing serious illness. SUMMARY:Beer Mountain Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Are you UP for the challenge?!\nSet on Upward Brewing Company’s 120-acre mountain plot in the Catskill Mountains\, the Beer Mountain Challenge is a trail run with two distance options for runners – 2 mile and 4 mile.  Appropriately dubbed\, Beer Mountain peaks at 1870 feet and is covered in a network of trails up\, down and across the mountain – all located on Upward Brewing’s property! This is a super fun and technical course with lots of rocks\, loose rocks\, stumps\, roots\, uneven footing\, etc — and it will surely leave you with exhausted lungs\, a beer in your hand\,  and a big fat smile : ) \n(Online registration ONLY – no race day registration!) \nAbout the Race:\nThe 2-mile option is one loop with 515 feet of elevation gain\, and the 4-mile option is two loops with 1\,030 feet of elevation gain.  Courses are a mix of foot trails (75%)\, rocky carriage path (20%) and grassy fields (5%). \nEach registrant receives a t-shirt\, a custom finisher medal and a free craft beer token for use in Upward Brewing’s taproom! \n\nChip timed race\nAges 14+\nNo pets\, no strollers\n2 mile (runners and walkers); 4 mile (runners only)

SUMMARY:YMCA Ruthie Dino Marshall 5K
DESCRIPTION:Ruthie spent her entire life in the Middletown area and was an active part of the community. She worked with the Middletown School District\, as well as here\, at the YMCA of Middletown. She was truly an integral part of our association. Her classes were well received and her benevolent nature always had her involved in an array of “Y” activities. An avid runner\, Ruthie was symbolic of our mission. Her dedication to building a healthy Spirit\, Mind and Body was exemplified in all she did. Ruthie conveyed this enthusiasm for life\, to all who knew her. Because of this\, it just seemed a proper tribute to rededicate our road race to Ruthie’s memory. \nThis event raises money each year for the children of our community. The funds raised benefit the Middletown School District Ruthie Dino-Marshall Memorial Fund and the YMCA of Middletown summer camp scholarship fund.

SUMMARY:PPTC Al Goldstein Speed Series 5Ks 6.18
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the return of the PPTC Al Goldstein Speed Series for 2025.  As always\, seven races are scheduled on alternating Wednesday evenings: May 21\, June 4 (Global Running Day!)\, June 18\, July 2\, July 16\, July 30\, August 13 and August 27 (RAIN DATE MAKE UP).  What is a Series Bib? It means you can run all of the races this summer\, you keep your bib and do not have to re-register for each race. If you are able to make all 7 races\, participants earn a special medal! Finally\, if a race has not sold out in advance\, you may do walk-in registration in-person on race day at Race Central for $15 credit or cash from 6:15 to 7 pm.
